The coin cassette holds 12 silver coins in original Lunar III. coin capsules (45mm outer diameter). The outside of the cassette is black with a printed silver "Australian Lunar III." and the inscription 1 oz. SILVER COINS + complete with a lunar calendar featuring the head of Queen Elizabeth II. The same inscription and image is also on the padded inner side of the lid of the cartridge.

Inside the cassette there are 12 coin capsule holes covered in black velvet. The lid and the cassette are connected by high quality silver coloured hinges and the connection between the cassettes and the lid is secured by unobtrusive built-in magnets. The underside of the Volterra coin cassette is covered with a non-slip fabric.

This cassette holds 12 silver coins with a diameter of 40.6 mm and circular capsule holes with a diameter of 45 mm.

Outer dimensions of the cassette are 305 x 30 x 245 mm.
