Chang Sui (683-727 AD) was a prominent astronomer of the Chinese Tang Dynasty. His work in astronomy, especially the observation of celestial bodies, contributed to a deeper understanding of the movement of stars and planets.
Chang Sui was known for his progressive approach to astronomy and became one of the key scientists of his time. He was part of the team that developed and improved astronomical instruments such as the water clock and the armi sphere, which greatly improved the accuracy of observations of celestial phenomena. His work laid the foundations of modern Chinese astronomy, and his research inspired generations of astronomers in China and beyond.
