For banknote collectors, Cyprus is currently a closed country, as in 2007 or 2008 Cyprus joined the common European currency Euro.

The first issue of banknotes was issued in Cyprus in 1914 and the last issue was issued between 1997 and 2005. If you want to include the complete series of Cyprus banknotes in your banknote album, you will need space for approximately 228 banknotes.
