In our e-shop you can also find cancelled (sometimes embossed) postage stamps of post-war Czechoslovakia. In this section of the e-shop we are dealing specifically with postage stamps from 1945 to 1969. According to the catalogue of postage stamps of Czechoslovakia POFIS, these are stamps from number 353 (series Kosice issue 1945) to stamp number 1803 - Postage Stamp Day 1969.
In total, therefore, you can find and include in your collection about 1450 postage stamps in the basic design in this period. The mintage up to 1969 is made for the sake of greater clarity, but also because of the issuance of issues in later times, when especially the 1970s are marked by a large issuance activity of the Czechoslovak Post and it is therefore advisable to have this period separately.
Among the most interesting items from this period is the first post-war series, the 1953 monetary refrom, which brought new denominations of stamps. Suddenly the crowns became penny denominations, and especially the new printing techniques that produced beautiful series of multi-coloured stamps.
