UV lamp Double L 81 - for longwave and shortwave radiation

The Double L 81 compact handheld UV lamp combines two types of ultraviolet radiation in one device - shortwave (254 nm) and longwave (380 nm). It enables reliable fluorescence and phosphorescence inspection of stamps, banknotes, credit and phone cards, documents and other collectibles or security items.

The built-in filter for long-wavelength residual light ensures more accurate display of UV reactions. The lamp operates in two modes:

• Shortwave UV: 4 watt (254 nm) - suitable for e.g. phosphorescence detection on stamps or special security features.

• Longwave UV: 3-4 mW (380 nm) - commonly used for e.g. checking banknotes or modern stamps with fluorescent fibres.

Power is provided by four AA-type pencil batteries (not included). Compact dimensions of 55 × 163 × 23 mm allow easy carrying and use in the field.
