The Biplane Potez 25, launched in the 1930s, became one of the most important French military biplanes of its time. Designed for reconnaissance and bombing missions, this versatile aircraft gained recognition not only in France but also in many other countries around the world thanks to its reliability and exceptional flight characteristics.
A characteristic feature of the Potez 25 was its rugged construction and ability to operate from less prepared surfaces. With a wingspan of over 14 metres and a top speed of around 200 km/h, it could effectively perform reconnaissance missions and support ground troops. It was equipped with a powerful Lorraine-Dietrich or Hispano-Suiza engine, which allowed it to carry both photographic equipment and smaller bomb loads.
What makes the Potez 25 truly iconic, however, is its long service in the air forces of various countries - from Europe to South America and Africa. Its ease of maintenance and adaptability to different types of missions made it a mainstay of military aviation until the beginning of World War II.
